Moving Fusion – Turbulence
By no means is this a new tune, but it is probably one of my favorite DnB tracks from the late 90′s. Moving Fusion has been around for quite a while now, and has been releasing some immense tracks on RAM such as one of my personal favorites, Makosa. Turbulence just has that classic Drum & Bass vibe to it, from its crisp snares to its deep and distorted basslines. Hope you guys enjoy this one, and lastly, happy belated thanksgiving!
Wilkinson – Tonight (After Midnight Mix)
Just a couple more days till the release of Wilkinson’s EP on RAM and I could not be more excited. Such a huge release and I have no idea why I didn’t post this song earlier…. Anyways, the original mix of, Tonight, is amazing needless to say. Usually when there’s an alternate mix to a song I just discard it because it doesn’t touch the original’s sound but this one is like an entirely different song in itself. The After Midnight Mix is filled with massive basslines and has a really unique groove to it. If you haven’t heard the other two songs off the EP yet, Pistol Whip and the original of Tonight, you have to check them out. Big ups to Wilkinson!
Wilkinson – Tonight
So excited for this tune!! Forthcoming on RAM on December 5th, probably one of the smoothest tracks out this month, is Tonight by Wilkinson. It’s not very bassy but is just a really clean track filled with good vibes. Have a listen to the clip below and make sure to grab it off RAM’s website when it’s released!
Sub Focus – Stomp
Probably one of the bigger tunes of 2011 so far, Sub Focus as usual kills it with Stomp. It has been featured on countless DJ Sets and of course on the RAM 100. Now I know that this came out a two months ago but I hadn’t posted it and there was no chance I was going to let it slide by. Sub Focus has always put an interesting spin on DnB using both old school and new school sounds. Of course this being a Sub Focus track the basslines are absolutely absurd and spacey as hell! I’m gonna try to keep this one short cause there aren’t too many ways for me to describe this song, it’s fuckin’ sick though so make sure to buy this one on Beatport.
