Color Amor – Colorstep Mixtape
It IS Thursday and you are probably going to go out to get your groove on for a little bit tonight. Do yourself a favor and listen to this free mixtape put together by Color Amor of Mar Del Plata, Argentina, before you step out the door and get your head in the game! He has been a DJ and producer on the Argentinian dubstep and heavy bass scene for years and is producing some pretty unique and catchy music right now. I love this guys’s style. The heavy hitting bass lines mixed up with the dancehall reggae style, ultimately creating a sound called Cumbiabass or Cumbiastep, is genius! These styles, Cumbiabass/Cumbiastep, are still not too popular in the United States, but hopefully we will be hearing these sounds creep their way into the clubs up here sooner than later!
