Camo & Krooked – In The Future (Feat. Jenna G & Futurebound)
Ohhh man, again, Camo & Krooked blow me the fuck away. Off their new highly anticipated album Cross The Line comes In The Future featuring Futurebound and with vocals from Jenna G. For starters, Futurebound himself produces huge tunes and is one of the main names featured on Viper Recordings (and is one of my personal favorite producers). Camo & Krooked, on the other hand, have been all over the place in the course of the past year and are definitely one of the prominent names of Drum & Bass currently. The three together create this smooth and (for lack of a better term) very future like DnB sound. This and the rest of Cross The Line is awesome. I would have probably wrote the whole album up… but I’m really tired and this track is HUGE!! So do yourselves a favor, go on Breakbeat.co.uk AKA the Drum & Bass Arena website, save 5 dollars and buy it for 9 rather than 16 on Beatport. Big ups to Camo & Krooked, Futurebound, and Jenna G for this one!!
Camo & Krooked – Run Riot
(Be sure to take note of 2:10 hahaha, pure class)
God damn I love this song, probably the most excited I have been for a song in a while now. I first heard this on a video from one of their shows and have been absolutely hooked ever since. Run Riot will be featured on Camo & Krooked’s LP Cross The Line which will be out sometime in the first week of October. One part I really want to emphasize is the build up SO MUCH FUCKING TENSION!! I can’t really put a finger on why I like the song so much but if you listen to it I’m sure you’ll know what I mean. So happy the studio version is up on Soundcloud now, check out the video above and the studio version below!! Also make sure to buy Cross The Line when it comes out, it’ll be worth every penny.
Camo & Krooked – Feel Your Pulse
Camo & Krooked seem to be in the spotlight of the DnB community with all of their huge releases as of lately. Breezeblock and All Fall Down got a lot of attention but I think their best release from the past few months would have to go to Feel Your Pulse. The song is filled with spacey synths and heaaaavy bass, really reminds me of songs like Space Time and No Problem. The song has been featured on the Drum and Bass Arena Podcast (which was this weeks competition answer that won me the DNBA shirt!! Check it out on the 9/9/11 podcast at 26:00) and Drum and Bass Arena Evolution. Big up to Camo & Krooked for this one, can’t wait to get my hands on their album, Cross The Line, coming up on October 3rd. Also if you don’t subscribe to Drum & Bass Arena’s podcast already ya best get on that!!!
Mind Is Drifting Away (VIP Mix)

Well, after probably one of the weirdest nights of my life I can’t help but feel a little off. Anyways, so I got home this morning and threw on some DnB and hopped in the shower. As I stood there, reliving the very odd past night, this song came on. While most Drum & Bass songs are filled with energy and aren’t quite as mellow, this one was different. It had a very relaxed feel to it, while also bringing that classic upbeat DnB tempo. It’s nice when a song has an emotional effect rather than just being energetic or just sounding cool, Camo & Krooked definitely did it big on this one, I know this one will be a favorite for a long time to come. Hope you guys like it as much as I do and give me some feedback!!
