9 Days ’til Decibel Festival – Halo Refuser

Dynamic instrumentation, multi-genre ear-bending soundscapes, and clever word play characterize the image that this Portland musician has made for himself. Asher Fulero, better known as Halo Refuser is bringing intelligent musicianship to the masses through his incredible array of spirited sounds. Under the name Halo Refuser, which is an anagram of his given name; Fulero is successfully fulfilling his goal of creating an exciting music project that will work for the dance clubs.

In the first two years of this project, Fulero released three alluring EPs which have been enjoyed by music lovers across the globe. Last year he released his first full length album entitled Ambigrammatic which he has produced and sold himself. Among many other exciting releases, Fulero’s single ‘The Lookout’ was featured on Seattle’s Innerflight label as a part of their Left Coast Sampler Vol. 3, released April 2012. If you’re unsure of which events to attend during Decibel this year, Halo Refuser is certainly one to look out for.
