Positive Vibes From ‘Pogo’
This post is a little bit different than most of my others. These 3 tunes below aren’t bass heavy, they’re not dark, and they don’t have any wobbles. These beautifully crafted remixes have a very unique sound. The producer Pogo a.k.a. Nick Bertke takes sound clips from a set movie or show, chops and tunes them to his liking, then builds funky, melodic and beautiful tunes. The best part is, it’s not only music! The videos are edited to follow along with the song. Below are three that I found to be really cool, there are MANY more on his youtube channel though.

Minimal Mowdi Mundaze Presents: Federico Scavo – You Know (Original Mix)
Federico Scavo has been spinning minimal since 1991 and has been producing it since 1994. I guess you could say hes been around for a bit now and has some experience, that is why his tunes are super dope. This one is chill but keeps your head boppin the whole time, this song is a perfect example of what this Italian producer can do.

Sometimes when the cold of winter is getting to you, its important to remember that warmth will come as the seasons change. This track, aptly titled Summer Lovin is keeping me warm this season.

Big shout out to Tha Geeks for this one! This tracks fire, and a prime example that Cleveland has talent. Coming straight from the Heights, Tha Geeks bring you a free download to add to your music library entitled, Empty Bottle. The beats smooth, the lyrics ride, and this has got Ganjaology ears tuned in. Big ups to Evan Edwards on the production!
