Exponaut – “E621″

I found this one tonight going through endless pages on soundcloud. I stumbled upon this Russian dubstep producer’s page (yeah I know another russian dubstep producer) and happened to listen to a few of his tracks. I didn’t even realize that this track was on Circus Records most recent sampler EP, released mid august, but this one I thought was definitely worth the post. I’m even going to buy this puppy as soon as I get done with the post. To tell you the truth it sounds a lot like Dream’s stuff with its vibrato lead synth. But it still goes hard as hell and has a clean sound. Theres a pretty cool moombahton remix of the tune too so check em both and as always turn up your speaks and your subs.
Halloween with Russ Liquid

It’s the day after Halloween and for some of us its all over until next year. My weekend has certainly been a testament to the enormity of this great awakening holiday. With performances by some extra-ordinary artists and bands all catering to the best coast bountiful harvest scene, my Halloween has been full of sensational excitement. Last night, after a long day of work, we scrounged the energy to get into costume and head out to a party up the mountain. This massive mansion was crawling with ghouls and ghosts, demons and devils, pirates and princesses, vikings and villains, and of course me… in a blue fur suit, a white tie and a sad clown face. After the samba crew finished rocking the crowd, the lights came up and the next act prepared himself. West coast bass artist Russ Liquid then started up his set with some smashing latin rhythms to get the peoples moving. With his mini keyboard, midi controller and trumpet, Russ administered an injection of sweet melodic bass vibration into the party. Eyes widened and spirits soared as our community of devilish creatures swooned and stomped to the the sounds of elegant glitch and evolutionary electronica. Russ Liquid is a truly talented artist and is undoubtedly crushing it out here. Look out for this guy!
Drum&BassArena: 15 Years

Drum & Bass Arena has been my source for finding some of my favorite DnB tunes and recently the site turned 15. To celebrate they compiled some of the best DnB songs of the year and are selling them on their site for an absurd price! 7 Euros ($9.50 USD) for 50 songs, a mix by the one and only DJ A.M.C, and 2 continuous mix’s. Beatport decided to sell it for 21 dollars so make sure if you do decide to buy it, save yourself some money and support Drum & Bass Arena directly by going directly to their site! Just to name a few of the major tunes on the compilation there’s: Crucial (Savage Rehab Remix), Halo by DC Breaks, Barfight by Athys & Duster, and countless other amaaaazzzing songs!! Have a listen to a few of em below and get em on Breakbeat.co.uk.
