Delta Heavy – Overkill
Damn, there is seriously too much stuff to write about this month. With the new Camo & Krooked LP finally out I thought I could finally relax, NOPE! I have been finding massive tunes left and right but this one reeeaaally stuck out to me. Delta Heavy always brings crazy, spacey, and above all HEAVY BASS and this song, Overkill, is a perfect example. The first time I heard the two producers, Si James and Ben Hall, was a little before I first started writing for Ganjaology and that was Space Time. Since then Delta Heavy has grown to be a prominent part of my library of music. Anyways, listen to the fuckin’ song haha, massive chune!!! Oh and I mine as well throw on the other track from the release, which is also amazing.
Tim Ismag – “Mr. Big”
This russian producer is set to release his EP on Play Me Records on October 31st. This track was my favorite from what I have heard from the EP already. It feels like a mix between Doctor P and Roksonix… if it wasn’t for Play Me’s ever present ‘OI’ wobble sounds, I’d say the tune belonged on Circus Records. None the less, I dig the tune. So you should check it.
