Mind Is Drifting Away (VIP Mix)
Well, after probably one of the weirdest nights of my life I can’t help but feel a little off. Anyways, so I got home this morning and threw on some DnB and hopped in the shower. As I stood there, reliving the very odd past night, this song came on. While most Drum & Bass songs are filled with energy and aren’t quite as mellow, this one was different. It had a very relaxed feel to it, while also bringing that classic upbeat DnB tempo. It’s nice when a song has an emotional effect rather than just being energetic or just sounding cool, Camo & Krooked definitely did it big on this one, I know this one will be a favorite for a long time to come. Hope you guys like it as much as I do and give me some feedback!!
Niton (The Reason) (Sigma Remix) – Eric Prydz
For a while now, Sigma have been my favorite DnB artists for a couple of reasons; one being I don’t know a song by them I don’t like, also they don’t need copious amounts of bass or layered kicks to make a song amazing. Earlier this year they released a remix of Eric Prydz’ Niton. The song is filled with energetic sounds and cool synths. Definitely a song for the summer and yet again Sigma doesn’t cease to amaze me.
Lady Snake – Summer Dub
This one landed in my download crate a while back and its spirit has finally arrived. The summer is here and she has laid her lusty fingers upon us. All awaken to the warmth of the sun. Raise a toast the season!
Amon Tobin – ISAM
This is Amon Tobin’s 9th album. The whole thing is up on SoundCloud and presented as one long mix. This glitchy, crunchy, ambient, funky, heavily synthesized, electronic composition is absolutely beautiful. Take 50 minutes out of your day and give this a good listen. Click HERE to buy it.
